What is a Vision Board?
A vision board is your creation, a collage of pictures, words, or phrases that represent what you want in your life. It's personal and based on your values, vision, creativity and unique flavour, there's no 'right' way for them to look. They are a tool for your life and it's up to you how you use them; as a visual, an art piece, with affirmations, a daily reminder, of your goals, or infuse them with magic and ritual.
Visuals in any given task increase efficiency and effectiveness by providing an instant translation of something on screen or paper. It helps people process information more quickly than reading words with no accompanying image to go alongside them.
Vision boards tap into that fact and put you much further and faster along your way to achieving your goals than if you relied on words alone.
While words may describe your desires or what you want to do, vision boards help you feel those things as accurate.
To use your Vision Board in a realistic and practical way: set your intention, believe that it will become a reality, put it somewhere visble, reflect on it and add/remove images where needed, then take active steps towards making that abstract idea ground into reality.
